National Cadet Corps: Events

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) unit at IIT Roorkee runs a variety of initiatives that focus on developing the personality and leadership skills of its cadets, as well as promoting social service and national awareness. The NCC program at IIT Roorkee is a valuable experience for students who are looking to develop their leadership skills, social responsibility, and physical fitness. Some of the key initiatives include:

Training: NCC cadets undergo rigorous training in various disciplines, including drill, weapon handling, map reading, and first aid. This training helps to develop their physical fitness, mental toughness, and teamwork skills.
Camps: NCC cadets participate in various camps throughout the year, such as the Annual Training Camp (ATC) and the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC). These camps provide an opportunity for cadets to put their skills into practice and to interact with cadets from other NCC units.
